Ciara May01/06/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ~ Mediterranean Escape ~ with a Modern Australian Twist @8attrinity Stepping into @8attrinity, I was immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, enhanced by the stunning architectural layout that effortlessly combines elegance and comfort. The water view dining added an extra layer of bliss to our experience, truly exceeding all expectations. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth. Our server, exhibited an impressive knowledge of the menu and offered wonderful recommendations with a friendly demeanor that made us feel right at home. We kicked off our culinary journey with the wood-fired bread accompanied by a delicious mix of tomato and burrata, drizzled with fresh basil. It was a fantastic way to start our meal, setting the tone for the delightful dishes to come. For the main course, we opted for the seafood platter for two, which surprisingly could have easily served four! The highlight of this extravagant two-tier platter was undoubtedly the lobster mornay, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. The sea scallops and king ceviche were packed with mouthwatering flavours, making it my absolute favourite part of the meal. As if that wasn’t enough, the fries were exceptional—crispy on the outside yet tender inside, as if they had been cooked thrice to achieve that ideal texture. I can confidently say I would return just to order this platter again! To cap off this incredible meal, I indulged in a caramelized apple tarte tatin. Each bite melted in my mouth, leaving me craving more. To refresh my palates, I enjoyed a limoncello daiquiri . The cocktail was a true masterpiece; the ice melted slowly, allowing me to savor each sip of the exquisite blend of limoncello, mandarins liqueur, Lillet Blanc, and lemon sorbet, which just kept on giving. The addition of pink plum and lemon myrtle salt rim, along with caramelized lemon sugar candy, transported me straight back to the sun-drenched Amalfi Coast. @8attrinity exceeded my expectation. Between the remarkable cuisine, attentive service, and stunning ambiance, I can't wait to return. Martin Cuthbert01/06/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sensational as always. Rachael Hastings01/06/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 8 at Trinity is absolutely fantastic. Yes, it's pricy, but the entire experience is well worth the price. They have very good gluten free pasta options (I had the wagyu bolognese - I still think about it, it was so good) - but I haven't tried a pizza yet as I am unsure about the impact of cross contamination. The GF chocolate passionfruit cake was also amazing. My husband got a regular pizza and he loved it. Definitely somewhere we plan on going again for special events! However the mash potato was out of this world, mouth watering, divine. I had to stop myself for eating the whole bowl. 8 at Trinity also has the most original cocktails. My go to is the magic mushroom which is a milky, minty combination. Comfort factor is definitely there, your not crammed into a tight space with freedom to move around. The only problem is that I want a seafood plate but I have no one to share it with. If you want a bit of luxury, this is the place to go. Teresa Mitchell-Paterson29/05/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I loved this venue. The staff were absolutely delightful; nothing was too hard for them, and they were very friendly. The food is excellent in value and generous sizing; the traditional steak frites delicious. Amazing drinks menu. It is an experience not to be missed, an oasis in a beautiful location. Matt28/05/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A large open dining hall that looks out over the bay. That sort of atmosphere is unbeatable. The food was excellent and serviced by friendly and engaging staff. Definitely worth the trip to visit.
